Rostock Ice Arena

The Rostock Ice Arena is located right next to the Ostseestadion at Barnstorfer Wald and, with 2,000 seats, is the largest ice arena in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. During the ice rink season from September through April, all of the Rostock Piranhas’ home games are held here.

The ice rink is also open to the public: on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays, skaters of all ages can use the facility. Skates in all sizes, freshly sharpened, are available for rent on site.

A bar serving snacks and drinks is available. Once a month on Saturday, there’s midnight ice skating: Starting at 8 p.m., you can skate into the early hours of the next day to great music and a fantastic light show.
