The Right Station in the Right Zone

"Route

You must purchase a ticket based on the number of zones you will be traveling through.

Use the network map to determine the number of zones you will travel through along your bus or train route. Zones that you pass through multiple times are counted only once. You can find the fare per number of zones in the fare table.

If you plan to travel through more than 7 zones, you pay the fare for the entire VVW network, regardless of how many zones you actually travel through within the entire fare zone.

Special Features

Service Area: Rostock

For single trips and day trips within Rostock, there is now only one fare for the entire city’s public transit network. For trips from the surrounding region to Rostock and vice versa, the “R” zone for Rostock must be added to the regional zones.

Service Area: Güstrow

A separate city fare applies to single-ride and day passes for city bus services in Güstrow and Bützow. For weekly and monthly passes, the price for one zone applies.
