Graal Müritz Rhododendron Park

Right in the heart of Graal-Müritz lies one of Germany’s largest and most beautiful rhododendron parks. Covering an area of 4.5 hectares, it was established in the late 1950s on the site of a former sand quarry.

During the blooming season, in May and June of each year, the rhododendron park is a veritable explosion of color. Over 2,000 shrubs bloom, transforming the park into a unique sea of color.

Even outside of the blooming season, the expansive park is perfect for long walks, and the concert pavilion regularly hosts concerts, exhibitions, and readings.
