Dragon Boat

The rebus torpedoes are ready to be boarded

"Dragon boat racing is a great team sport: Everyone sits in the same boat and shares the same goal. Everyone finds their place, whether they’re tall, short, strong, or not quite as strong. Only by working together can they propel the boat forward and make some serious waves."

"It’s fun, it brings people together, and you get to know your coworkers in a whole new way."

Our Dragon Boat Team

Our team consists of employees from all departments and locations.

Anyone who wants to have fun is welcome to join us: We train every Wednesday evening starting at 6:30 p.m. on the Inselsee in Güstrow. There, we’ve rented a dragon boat from the Güstrow Canoe Club that we can use for training. From May through the end of September (weather permitting), we train in quick starts, strength, endurance, and rhythm. In the winter, we take a break and recharge our energy for the next season.

Who can participate?

All employees of rebus Regionalbus Rostock GmbH.

Where do they train?

Training takes place on the Inselsee near Güstrow.

Gold and Silver for our rebus Torpedos!

What a successful weekend at the 33rd Dragon Boat Festival, held August 14–16, 2026, in Schwerin!

In the Business Cup, our team secured a strong second-place finish in the 200-meter race. In the 1,000-meter race, the Torpedos even paddled their way to victory!

Company Run

The rebus-Runners Team Strikes

Powerful start, strong momentum, endurance, and precise timing—it’s not just our buses; our relay runners also deliver outstanding performances.

It has almost become a tradition for our running teams to participate in the annual Rostock Corporate Run. With varying team lineups, our employees from all departments and locations compete against teams from other companies. While athletic ambition plays a role, the focus is above all on having fun.

Many of our employees also participate in other races, such as half marathons or marathons. In doing so, they not only demonstrate their commitment to sports but also strengthen team spirit, personal endurance, and a willingness to continuously develop within the company.

The “rebus Runners” were there again!

At the 17th Rostock Company Run on June 17, 2026, we not only demonstrated team spirit along the banks of the Warnow, but also secured some top finishes among a record field of 1,045 registered teams. The 3.5-kilometer course from the Haedge Peninsula to the Aida headquarters and back flew by.
A huge thank you to our runners for this fantastic athletic achievement!

Our Rebus Kickers

The rebus soccer players always hit the target

Let’s show on the field what we’re capable of as a team. Everyone brings their own strengths to the table—motivation, team spirit, fairness, and the will to win together. Soccer is all about cooperation, communication, and trust: passing creates space.

You’re part of the team because you’re looking for excitement, challenges, and a sense of community—whether you’re a beginner or a pro, every effort counts. Team spirit makes all the difference—on the field, in the workplace, and beyond.
