The Joy of Reading in the County

Bookmobile

As a mobile library, our bookmobile regularly supplies smaller towns in the northern part of the Rostock district with new and exciting reading material.

Our bookmobile carries the following media for you:

  • Books for children and adults
  • Nonfiction and specialized literature
  • Audiobooks (on CD)
  • DVDs / Videos
  • CDs / cassettes for children and adults

At many locations in the northern part of the Rostock district, you can borrow up to six books or other media items at a time for up to four weeks (renewals available!).

When will the bookmobile come to your area?

The bookmobile schedule at a glance: Enter your stop, and the upcoming stops near your location will be displayed.

New on board:

The rebus mobile library is participating in the special program “Queer Diversity in Libraries and Sociocultural Life” sponsored by the State of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania’s cultural affairs department.

This helps raise awareness of diverse ways of life and promotes tolerance and understanding for those with different perspectives. We look forward to offering these additional media resources in the future.

A list of media resources is available on the bus.
