Old Power Plant, Warnemünde

The Alter Strom is the main attraction of the town of Warnemünde. It has it all: The few remaining fishermen with their red cutters, sightseeing steamers, and plenty of sailboats and pleasure craft all contribute to the maritime atmosphere.

There’s plenty to discover in the small, charming shops and boutiques on the left side of the Alter Strom. Dotted throughout the area, numerous cozy restaurants, rustic fishermen’s pubs, bars, and ice cream shops invite you to take a delicious break.

The tour concludes at the Westmole, home to the green lighthouse familiar from many vacation photos and a specially built observation deck that offers a beautiful view of the entire Warnemünde beach.
