Molli Bad Doberan

The Mecklenburg Bäderbahn Molli offers a nostalgic experience for steam locomotive fans of all ages. It runs daily at hourly intervals (every two hours in winter) between Bad Doberan and the Baltic Sea resort of Kühlungsborn.

The ride begins at the train station in Bad Doberan and then winds through Bad Doberan’s old town, past the racetrack, through the stop in Heiligendamm, and on to Kühlungsborn. The Molli also stops at this station during events at the racetrack. If you get off at the “Steilküste” stop between Heiligendamm and Kühlungsborn, it’s just a short walk to the beach.

Once you arrive at the Baltic Sea resort of Kühlungsborn—the trip takes about 40 minutes between Bad Doberan and Kühlungsborn Ost—the Molli stops at three stops within Kühlungsborn.
